Jeremy Rogers, 27, Haleyville was on his way to work at a coal mine when he lost control of his Chevy pickup on Dime Road north of the Quarter Creek bridge. His pickup left the road, flipped and came to rest on the driver's side next to the entrance to B&B Performance. He was trapped in his vehicle until Haleyville firemen, using the jaws of life, cut away the roof of his truck. After he was extracted, he was flown by an Air Evac helicopter to Huntsville with extensive head injuries and a possible broken leg. |
